The HIGHLIGHT of my two month South America Adventure from Lima Peru and Inca Trails in the north to Ushsaia Argentina, the southern most city in the world, has to be PATAGONIA. Missing is many many miles of dirt highways and little original homesteads and numberous livestock strolling about. Split windshield VW Buses, Hitchhikers and Hikers. Rivers and lakes beyond belief. Highways that dead end into a body of water with a ferry crossing. Some ferries run one or two days per week. Most at least once per day. Border crossings. Bank ATM machines that would challenge even Butch & Sundance. Wild & Beautiful !
